Horses suffer from a number of acute conditions and injuries where immediate first aid and prompt treatment is required such as colic, choke, wounds, bleeding and trauma. We are able to give you advice until our vet arrives.

As well as the routine procedures that can be done in the field the clinic allows our vets to conduct more intensive investigations. These investigations can be for a range of conditions such as lameness or respiratory disease and involve specialised diagnostic techniques. The clinic provides facilities for physiotherapy, dentistry and farriery. The clinic also provides a place for very specialist consultant vets to bring their expertise to the practice.

We use a number of specialised techniques in the equine clinic including digital x-rays, ultrasound, ECG, and endoscopy. Clinical samples can also be taken and processed in our in-house laboratory facilities or with our external laboratory partners.
